How does the approval process work?

Pudding is anti-process. There's no complicated work-flow to setup and manage. There is a single button on each piece that any project participant can click on to mark the piece approved.

What if I have more than one reviewer?

In the case of multiple reviewers I'd suggest talking to them regarding who has final say on approvals. If they demand that both people must approve something, just ask them to leave a comment on the version of the piece that simply says, "approved", and then you can be the one to actually click the "approval" button. You'll show up as the one who "approved it", but the comment history of the piece will have the record of them saying the piece is approved.

How do people get notified of updates to projects?

Pudding has two ways of helping people stay up to date with the activities on a project. Every time you leave a comment on a piece you can use the "Alert People" feature which will notify selected people that something has occurred and they should login and catch up.

People can also subscribe to an account or project Feed. (The account feed is just all the project feeds combined.) If you're not familiar with the concept of a Feed, generally speaking, it is a data format used for providing people with frequently updated content. If you follow a lot of blogs or news sites you've probably seen it as an offering of their web site.

How does Pudding handle printing?

You can print the piece with or without everyone's commments. The project name, creative piece name and its version number, approval status, and who approved which version will be reflected on the printed page.
